Staff IC Design Engineer at Power Integrations

Jürgen Kessel-Erlekam has extensive work experience in the field of IC design and engineering. Jürgen currently holds the position of Staff IC Design Engineer at Power Integrations since January 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Field Application Engineer at Semitron W. Röck GmbH from September 2018 to February 2020 and at RUTRONIK Electronics Worldwide in August 2018.

Before their roles in field application engineering, Jürgen served as a Senior Analog Design Engineer at Sigma Designs from June 2012 to June 2018 and at Trident Microsystems from May 2009 to June 2012. Jürgen started their career as an Analog Design Engineer at Micronas in July 1991, where they contributed to the development of analog CMOS circuits, including D/A and A/D converters, amplifiers, power output stages, bandgap references, oscillators, PLLs, and voltage regulators. Jürgen also managed technical projects related to analog high-performance audio subsystems.

Jürgen's earlier experiences include working as a Design Engineer at Philips Semiconductors Hamburg from May 1989 to June 1991 and as a Scientific Assistant at the Chair of Electromagnetic Theory of RWTH Aachen University from March 1989 to April 1989.

Jürgen Kessel-Erlekam completed their high school education at Städtisches Gymnasium Wesel-Nord (now: Konrad-Duden-Gymnasium Wesel) from 1973 to 1982. Jürgen then pursued further studies at RWTH Aachen University from 1983 to 1988, where they obtained a Diploma (M. Sc.) in Electrical Engineering.
