Staff New Product Definition Engineer at Power Integrations

Noam Ezra has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. They started their professional career with Israel Defense Forces, serving in the Israel Air Force as a pilot and later as a combat fighter and Sergeant of recruits in the Special Force "Maglan." During their service, they received accolades such as the Paratroopers Brigade Award of Excellence and the Team Award of Excellence.

After completing their military service, Noam joined Ben-Gurion University of the Negev as a research student for a year.

In 2012, they joined SolarEdge Technologies, initially working as a Power and Storage Engineer. In this role, they gained practical experience in power, analog, digital, and mixed signal circuit design and layout, as well as DC/DC converters, AC/DC converters, BMS system, high current + high voltage circuits, and magnetic development. They were responsible for the entire development process, including design, schematics, feasibility tests, PCB layout, and bring-up. They also collaborated with embedded software and system integration teams throughout the product development stages.

Noam later transitioned to the role of ATE and HW Engineer at SolarEdge Technologies, where they defined and conducted product testing during and after the development process. They worked closely with embedded software and HW teams to solve and debug product and system issues. They were involved in developing ATE testing products, including PCBs, stations, and ATP software.

In 2017, Noam joined Power Integrations as a Senior Application Engineer. They worked in this role until September 2019 before being promoted to Senior New Product Definition Engineer. In October 2021, they further advanced their career at Power Integrations as a Staff New Product Definition Engineer.

Noam Ezra's education history began in 2008 when they enrolled at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 2012. Afterward, they pursued further education at the University of Cambridge, where they are currently enrolled in a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program specializing in power electronics. Noam Ezra has not obtained any additional certifications outside of their education.
