Thomas Lehnert

Thomas Lehnert has a diverse work experience in the automotive and energy industries. Thomas most recently served as the Head of Business Unit Energy Storage Systems at PowerCo SE. Prior to that, they were the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at PowerCo SE. Before joining PowerCo SE, Thomas worked at Volkswagen AG as the Head of Cooperations CoE Battery Cell. Thomas also held a position at Daimler AG as the Head of Finance & Controlling Participations Mercedes-Benz Cars. Additionally, they served as the Kaufmännischer Geschäftsführer at Li-Tec Battery GmbH and the Chief Financial Officer at Deutsche Accumotive GmbH & Co. KG. Thomas has a solid background in project controlling, business portfolio management, and strategy & sales controlling, having worked in various roles at Daimler AG since 1999.

Thomas Lehnert attended the Verwaltungs- und Wirtschaftsakademie Stuttgart (University of Cooperative Education) from 1996 to 1999, where they earned a Diplom-Betriebswirt (BA) degree in Wirtschaftswissenschaften.
