Elise L. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Elise began their career as a Waitress at Borrelli's Italian Restaurant in 2009, where they quickly earned the trust of the owner and was promoted to be the first and only high school waitress. Elise then worked as a Hostess at Omni La Costa Resort and Spa in 2012, where they handled seating for breakfast and welcomed guests in a busy fine dining restaurant.

In 2013, Elise joined Bent Fork The Grill as a Hostess. Elise was later promoted to Administrative Assistant and Manager, where they implemented POS and technology updates and took on additional responsibilities based on their leadership skills. As Program Manager, Elise focused on maximizing revenue and profits by improving existing programs and implementing new ones.

Elise's career then transitioned into the education sector, as they became a Mathematics Teacher at Denver Public Schools in 2017. Elise taught mathematics to students and served in this role until 2019.

Seeking a change, Elise pursued a career in compliance. Elise joined Promontory Risk Review, LLC in 2019 as an Anti-Money Laundering Analyst, where they analyzed financial transactions for potential money laundering activities. Elise was later promoted to the role of Anti-Money Laundering Analyst II before leaving the company in 2021.

In 2021, Elise joined WorldRemit as a Compliance Analyst, furthering their experience in the compliance field. Elise then moved on to PowerCoin in 2022, where they initially worked as a Senior Compliance Analyst before being promoted to the role of Deputy Compliance Officer in 2023.

Elise L. completed their Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science from Colorado State University, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. Elise then pursued Secondary Education and Teaching at the University of Colorado Denver from 2017 to 2018, although they did not obtain a degree in this field. Prior to their college education, Elise L. received their high school diploma from San Dieguito Academy High School, where they attended from 2008 to 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Elise L. has obtained several certifications. In 2020, they earned the certifications of Anti-Money Laundering Rising Star - Explorer and Anti-Money Laundering Rising Star - Challenger from IBM. Elise also became a Cognitive Practitioner and completed the IBM Blockchain Essentials V2 course in the same year. In 2021, Elise L. obtained the certification of Anti-Money Laundering Rising Star - Master from IBM. Furthermore, they completed the Chainalysis KYT Certification (CKC) and the Chainalysis Reactor Certification in 2023, both from Chainalysis, Inc.
