Chris Perrault

Chris Perrault has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Chris is currently the Senior Vice President of Strategy and Operations at Powerhouse since February 2022. Prior to that, Chris worked as the Principal at The Perrault Group LLC from 2019 to 2022, where they provided policy, strategy, and business consulting on clean energy and retail energy, working with both start-ups and Fortune 500 companies.

From 2014 to 2019, Chris served as the Chief Operating Officer at CleanChoice Energy. Before that, they worked at The Perrault Group LLC as a Principal from 2012 to 2014, specializing in policy, strategy, and business consulting on clean energy and retail energy.

Chris has also held various positions at Direct Energy from 2005 to 2012, including Vice President of US Federal Government and Regulatory Affairs, Senior Director of Climate Change Strategy, and Director of Operations. Chris was the Director of New Business Integration at Constellation NewEnergy from 2003 to 2004 and the Director of Operations at AES NewEnergy from 2000 to 2003.

Prior to their roles in the energy industry, Chris worked as the Director of Utilities at PepsiCo Restaurants from 1993 to 1999. Chris also gained experience as a Project Manager at Cajun Industries, LLC from 1989 to 1991 and as a Staff Engineer at Professional Service Industries, Inc. (PSI) from 1987 to 1989.

Chris Perrault has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering from Louisiana State University.
