CTO at PowerNotes

Camilo Bravo has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of software engineering and technology leadership. Camilo is currently working as the CTO at PowerNotes since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Toptal as a Software Engineer, where they also served as a CMS Screener, conducting technical interviews and contributing to the screening process. Camilo joined Toptal in 2016 and stayed until February 2019.

During their tenure at Digital Intent starting in September 2017, Camilo served as a Senior Software Engineer. Camilo then moved to Monarq in November 2018, where they held the position of Head of Mobile Development.

In 2016, Camilo co-created, designed, and served as the sole developer at Facilitario, an innovative activity organization platform. Camilo collaborated closely with Defensoría del Pueblo, an Ecuadorian human rights institution, to add initial content.

Additionally, Camilo worked as an event co-organizer at Drupal Ecuador and led the organization of the local Drupal event "DrupalCamp Quito + PHP Day 2017" in May 2017. Camilo also joined Hintd.com as the Chief Engineer, where they led a complete redesign and development of new features from August 2016 to October 2017.

In 2016, Camilo worked as an Information Manager at the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies for the Shelter Cluster, contributing to the coordination of national and international aid in response to the Ecuador earthquake. Camilo produced various reports, including presence and operational maps of the affected areas.

Prior to these roles, Camilo worked at Appnovation Technologies as a Senior Back-end Drupal Developer and heavily customized the Entity Forms Drupal module for a challenging project. Camilo was with the company from October 2014 to December 2015.

Camilo's career began at Jobsity in August 2011, where they served as the CTO. During their time at Jobsity, they played a vital role in the company's growth, establishing processes and creating specialized systems for hiring and training employees. Camilo actively contributed to the professional development of numerous talented developers. Camilo's tenure at Jobsity lasted until December 2015.

Camilo Bravo studied at the Universidad San Francisco de Quito from 2004 to 2009, where they earned a degree in Systems Engineering with a minor in Mathematics. Their field of study was Computer Science.
