Laura V. Sosa

Laura V. Sosa has a strong background in learning and development (L&D). Laura is currently working as the L&D Solution Lead at Powtoon, a visual communication platform. In this role, they collaborate with external L&D teams to ensure the successful implementation of Powtoon.

Prior to their current role, Laura worked at KPMG US as the Learning Technologies Manager from 2017 to 2019. In this position, they were responsible for implementing and supervising the day-to-day operations of LD programs, ensuring global consistency. Laura also played a key role in building training effectiveness metrics and analyzing data to optimize existing curricula.

Before joining KPMG, Laura worked at Square as an eTraining Coordinator from 2014 to 2017. In this role, they created e-learning modules, videos, animations, and other e-learning content. Laura also provided support for instructor-led training remotely.

Laura V. Sosa earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Resource Management from UCLA. Laura attended UCLA from 2011 to 2015.
