Héctor Eduardo Umaña Perea has a diverse work experience. Héctor Eduardo started their career in 2008 at Ara WorleyParsons S.A., where they worked as an Administración de servidores until 2013. Héctor Eduardo then joined WorleyParsons in 2013 as a Control documental until 2014. In 2017, they joined PPI - Precision Pulley & Idler, initially working as a Production Planner (práctica) for a short period. Héctor Eduardo then transitioned to the role of Planner engineer until 2021. Currently, Héctor holds the position of Head Of Procurement and Logistics at PPI - Precision Pulley & Idler.

Héctor Eduardo Umaña Perea's education history begins in 2010 when they enrolled at the Universidad de Santiago de Chile to pursue a degree in Ingeniería Mecánica. However, their studies in this field remained incomplete, as they concluded their academic journey in 2014. Following this, they decided to further their education and joined the same university to pursue a Grado en Ingeniería degree in Ingeniería industrial starting in 2015. Héctor Eduardo successfully completed their studies in this field in 2018 from the Universidad de Santiago de Chile.
