Brenda Hamilton

Brenda Hamilton has extensive work experience in risk and compliance roles. Brenda is currently the Head of Risk & Compliance, UK & Europe at PRA Group since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at PRA GROUP (UK) LIMITED as the Head of Compliance Controls & Vendor Risk Europe from 2018 to 2023.

Before joining PRA Group, Brenda worked at Powerleague Fives Ltd as the Compliance & Risk Controller from 2016 to 2018, and as a Management Accountant/Internal Auditor from 2012 to 2016. Brenda also served as the Director at General Office Aids Ltd from 1996 to 2011.

Brenda's early career includes positions at First National Bank of Boston, where they worked as an Assistant Vice President, Private Banking from 1988 to 1995, and at Royal Bank of Scotland as a Senior Banking Officer from 1982 to 1988.

Brenda Hamilton has a diverse education history. Brenda obtained an International Certificate in Enterprise Risk Management from the Institute of Risk Management in 2021-2022. Prior to that, they completed their MBA in Business Administration at Bayes Business School from 1989-1991. Additionally, they earned a degree in Banking, MCIBS, from The Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland from 1982-1987.
