Tim Highland

Tim Highland has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. Tim began their career in 1990 as President and Owner of Highland Investment Advisory, a privately owned Registered Investment Advisor that focused on HNW investors. In 1995, the firm was sold with $100MM in assets and 160 clients. In 1998, they took on the role of National Sales Manager for Consulting Services at Everen. Tim then joined Sun Life Financial in 2000 as Senior Vice President. From 2004 to 2009, they worked at Russell Investment Group as Client Executive and Client Executive Strategic Partnerships, managing relationships with strategic partners in sales and marketing. In 2009, they became Executive Vice President at Investment Planners, Inc. and IPI Wealth Management, Inc., responsible for strategic direction in investment strategies and solutions for partner advisors. From 2016 to 2018, they were Principal Owner at D3 Financial Partners, LLC and Vice President of Strategic Solutions at Docupace Technologies. In 2018, they took on the role of Independent Board Trustee at AmericaFirst Capital Management, LLC. Most recently, they have been Head of Product Strategy and Head of Professional Services at Practifi since 2021.

Tim Highland attended DePaul University from 1988 to 1991, studying Finance. Tim also attended Illinois State University, studying Finance and Financial Management Services.
