Solutions Architect at Praecipio

Reid Bourgeois has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Starting as a Google Street View Driver at The Adecco Group in 2013, Bourgeois went on to work as a Clerical Associate at SaskTel in 2014. In 2015, Bourgeois became a Jira Analyst at Financement agricole Canada / Farm Credit Canada, where they supported Agile teams and extracted data using JQL and SQL.

From 2017 to 2018, Bourgeois worked as a Student Employee at the University of Regina, where they collected and analyzed data and maintained the GMAT testing systems.

In 2018, Bourgeois joined Driving Change Automotive Group as a Business Intelligence Lead, where they extracted data using SQL and performed analysis using Excel. They also wrote XML code to integrate marketing platforms with DealerSocket CRM.

From 2019 to 2020, Bourgeois worked as a Business Metrics Analyst at SaskTel, supporting portfolio and warehouse managers by extracting data from SAP ERP & SAP Ariba and performing data analysis using Excel and Power BI.

In 2020, Bourgeois became an IT Productivity Analyst at ALDO Group, where they rebuilt ALDO's Jira Service Management instance and migrated users from other defect/project management tools to Jira.

From 2022 to 2023, Bourgeois worked at Appnovation as a Manager, Atlassian Developer. In this role, they developed solution architecture and implemented JSM for healthcare and Fortune 500 clients, installed and configured Jira add-ons, and delivered training sessions for over 2500 users.

Finally, Bourgeois is currently working as a Solutions Architect at Praecipio, starting in 2023.

Reid Bourgeois holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Economics from the University of Regina. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including ACP-420 (Atlassian Certified Jira Service Project Manager) from Atlassian in November 2022, Mental Health First Aid from Mental Health First Aid Canada in October 2022, DAT207x: Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Power BI from Microsoft in May 2020, and DAT201x: Querying Data with Transact-SQL from Microsoft in April 2020.
