Kerry Keffaber

Kerry grew up on a farm in northeast Indiana and has always been involved with animal agriculture. He received his Bachelor of Science and DVM from Purdue University and completed the EVP program at the University of Illinois. Kerry was in private practice for more than 20 years, followed by 16 years with Elanco Animal Health in various roles including Director of Swine Product Development, Director of U.S. Swine Technical Services and Chief Veterinarian. Currently, Kerry is Vice President of Strategy and Product development at United Animal Health. He has been the author and co-author of peer-reviewed publications on swine disease and management, has spoken nationally and internationally on science and policy related to food, was the 2008 AASV President, participated in and helped to coordinate a 2011 HEIFER trip to Cameroon and was 2015 AASV Allied Veterinarian of the Year.
