Sunil Kumar

Sunil Kumar has been working in the software industry since 2005. In 2005, they joined Cadem Technologies Pvt Ltd as an Engineer - Software Development, where they learnt on-the-job VC++/MFC programming and Object Oriented design, and worked on developing end-to-end CAD, CAM and CNC modules for industrial automation software using VC++, MFC and Microsoft. In 2006, they joined iPass as a Senior Principal Engineer (Engineering Manager). In this role, they were the primary stakeholder responsible for delivering multiple projects, including 3 new backend large scale applications. Sunil also managed a team of Technical Leads and Senior Software Engineers, and provided technical guidance to the team. Sunil also worked as a Principal Engineer, Senior Technical Lead, and Software Engineer at iPass. In 2020, they became the Co-Founder & VP - Engineering of Prakya Inc., a SaaS based "Unified Agile Workplace Platform." In this role, they led the building of the SaaS platform from 0 to 1, and successfully launched MVP in 7 months and beta in less than a year with a team of 6 engineers. Sunil also handles the entire operations of India office, and manages and delivers products and services for customers.

Sunil Kumar began their education in 1986 at Cluny Convent, where they completed their Elementary Education. Sunil then attended M S Ramaiah Institute of Technology from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a BE in Mechanical Engineering. Finally, they attended Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani from 2008 to 2010, where they earned a Masters in Software Systems.
