Carolyne Lu has a diverse work experience, starting in 2013 as a Tutor at IQ Learning and GradePower Learning Round Rock. In 2014, they worked as a Research Assistant at Baylor College of Medicine. Carolyne then joined The University of Texas at Austin in 2015, where they served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant and later as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant until 2018.
In 2018, Lu gained industry experience as a Process Development Engineer at Boston Scientific and as an R&D Engineer at Johnson & Johnson. Carolyne also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Rice University during this time.
In 2019, Lu became a Project Engineer at Procyrion, Inc., and eventually transitioned to the role of Product Development Engineer. Carolyne worked in these roles until 2022.
Currently, Lu holds the position of Director of Clinical and Regulatory Strategy at Prana Thoracic, starting in October 2022.
Carolyne Lu obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, where they attended from 2014 to 2018. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Bioengineering degree specializing in Global Medical Innovation at Rice University from 2018 to 2019.
