Thu Trong Vu

Thu Trong Vu has over 20 years of work experience. Thu Trong began their career in 2000 as an Intent student at Softex/IMET/Nacentech. In 2003, they became a Project Leader and Developer at FPT Software. In 2005, they were a Trainee at Global Sourcing Division, Hitachi Ltd. Thu Trong returned to FPT Software in 2006 as a Business Analyst Team Leader and Team Leader. In 2007, they were a Researcher at Space Technology Institute. In 2008, they became Manager of the FSpace laboratory at FPT University. From 2009 to 2016, they were the National Point of Contact for Vietnam at Space Generation Advisory Council. From 2013 to 2022, they were a Simulation Department Manager at Rossmap JSC and a YahSat Space Laboratory Research Engineer at Masdar Institure, a part of Khalifa University of Science and Technology. Thu Trong currently serves as a Space Mission Manager at Precious Payload.

Thu Trong Vu's education history includes a Bachelor of Geodesy from Hanoi University of Minning and Geology in 2004, a Secondary School Graduation Certificate from Chu Van An secondary school in 1996, an Executive Diploma in International Business Management from Pearson College London in 2017, and a Master of Business Administration - MBA from University of Wolverhampton in 2019. Additionally, Vu has obtained various certifications, such as Spacecraft Techniques and Technology from CNES in 2019, Space Simulation Chamber Training from LACO Technologies in 2018, Vibration Testing from Bruel & Kjaer Sound & Vibration Measurement A/S in 2017, The 2nd CanSat Leader Training Program from Nihon University in 2011, Project Management Professional from Project Management Institute in 2008, and Sun Certified Java Programmer from Sun Microsystems in 2004.
