Bahram Marami has worked in a variety of roles in the technology and research fields. Bahram began their career in 2008 as a PhD Candidate and Teaching Assistant at McMaster University. In 2013, they became a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Robarts Research Institute. In 2015, they moved to Harvard Medical School as a Research Fellow. In 2016, they took on the role of Data Science Fellow at Insight Data Science. In 2018, they co-founded and became Technology Lead at DispoMeds, LLC. In 2019, they were a Cohort Fellow at Cleantech Open, where they were introduced to over 50 start-up advisors from various industries. In 2020, they were a Cohort Fellow at Entrepreneurship Lab (ELabNYC) Bio & Health Tech. In 2021, they became a Machine Vision Engineer at PreciseDx. Currently, they are Manager, IT Data Science at the University of Miami Health System.
Bahram Marami has a varied educational background. Bahram obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering, Electronics from Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic between 2001 and 2006. Bahram also obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science in Biomedical Engineering, Bioelectric from the same institution between 2001 and 2005. Bahram then went on to obtain a Master of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems from Sharif University of Technology between 2005 and 2007. Following this, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from McMaster University between 2008 and 2013. Finally, they obtained a Master of Science in Leadership from the University of Miami Herbert Business School between 2022 and 2024. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Intro to Statistics from Udacity, Introduction to project management, project management 1, effective networking, the art of powerful conversation, practice your presentation skills, business conduct excellence and dining etiquette from Mitacs Inc., and Machine Learning from Coursera.
