PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The Senior Account Executive will help achieve maximum sales profitability, market penetration and growth within the German Market. This will be done by effectively prospecting to new target accounts and building existing accounts to meet Precisely’s rapid growth plans and expand our global presence as leaders in data integrity.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Other duties may be assigned

  • Learn, understand and convey Precisely’s products capabilities and benefits
  • Communicate Precisely’s value proposition to the Insurance industry to drive insightful client engagements across various business functions (i.e. IT Operations, Core Business Units, Analytics and Compliance.)
  • Drive pipeline growth through effective prospecting and lead generation activities
  • Build and manage all stages of sales pipeline to consistently achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual targets (prospecting through to deal closing)
  • Develop and execute actions, business and strategic account plans to generate revenue for new business within assigned territory
  • Build and uphold a high level of client experience across assigned territory
  • Plan, execute and document sales steps utilizing Precisely’s CRM on a daily basis
  • Provide accurate forecasting and reporting to Sales leaders
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholder teams such as Precisely’s Pre-sales, BDR, Marketing, Professional Services & Value Engineering teams and Executive leadership to create compelling business propositions based on Precisely solutions
  • Contribute to market strategy by monitoring market data, competitive products and prospect feedback
  • Convey product feature requests to Product Management team
  • Deliver forecasting demand, client launches and revenue on an ongoing and consistent basis

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Ability to build relationships at all levels with prospects, customers, partners and within Precisely
  • Having a “Hunter-selling” mentality rather than being a Farmer
  • Excellent selling and storytelling skills and the ability to close business
  • Self-starter with strong planning, technical and administrative proficiencies
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills
  • Strong business and operations acumen
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and time management skills
  • Good business maturity, negotiating and decision-making skills 
  • Basic to intermediate technical understanding of information and communication technologies concepts and architecture
  • Ability to accurately prioritize and manage time/resources for maximum efficiency and productivity
  • Specific industry knowledge is optional and a plus
  • Bachelor's degree, Business or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated experience (preferred 10+ years) in enterprise software sales, selling directly to Enterprise customers
  • Experience in data management, applications, IT platforms and cloud services
  • Understanding of some or all of the following software solutions areas: Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Observability, Enrichment data, Data Integration, Location Intelligence, Analytic Cloud Datawarehouse
