Jon Lovering

Jon Lovering has a diverse work experience in the field of software and firmware engineering. Jon is currently employed as a Senior Software Engineer at Precision AI since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Software and Hardware Consultant, providing their expertise in the field on a self-employed basis since February 2018. Jon also served as an SR&ED Manager at Deloitte from July 2018 to October 2021.

Before joining Deloitte, Jon worked at Google as a Senior Software Engineer from October 2015 to February 2018. Jon gained valuable experience in firmware engineering during their time at Lytro Inc. as a Firmware Engineer from October 2012 to October 2015. Prior to that, Jon worked as a Software Development Engineer at Lab126 from May 2011 to October 2012.

Jon started their career as a Firmware Engineer at Apple from July 2008 to May 2011. Before that, they worked at Solido Design Automation as a Software Designer from April 2004 to June 2006. Additionally, Jon gained valuable experience as a Student Assistant at the University of Saskatchewan from September 2005 to April 2006, where they provided various forms of support to professors and students.

Jon Lovering attended the University of Saskatchewan from 2002 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. During the same period, they also completed an Honours degree in Computer Science from the same institution.
