Josiah Haswell has a long history of working in the software engineering field. Josiah began their career in 2008 as a Software Development Consultant, working on various projects such as improving the domain-specific numerical performance of the Gnu Multiple Precision Library and creating a soft real-time Raft implementation.

In 2010, Haswell began working as a Software Engineer at Hewlett-Packard, where they integrated NNMi with ArcSight logger and HP-IMC, and developed on NNMi infrastructure and topology. In 2013, they took on two roles, one as Lead Software Engineer at CA Technologies and one as Lead Software Engineer at Hewlett-Packard/Vertica. At CA Technologies, they designed and implemented Trellis, a high-performance, grid-enabled application container tailored to the Nimsoft environment. At Hewlett-Packard/Vertica, they investigated, designed, prototyped, and implemented techniques for analyzing very large data sets across distributed systems.

In 2012, Haswell became a Senior Software Engineer at Electric Cloud, where they were responsible for UI/back-end/web-service development and migrated a complex, parallel, multi-platform build system from Maven to Gradle. In 2016, they became the Chief Scientist at a Stealth-Mode Startup and in 2017, they became a Cloud Bee at CloudBees. In 2018, they founded Sunshower.io, where they served as the Founder and technical lead.

Currently, Haswell is the Co-Founder of Groovv.io and the Principal Software Engineer, Director at PredictSpring Inc.

Josiah Haswell attended Colorado State University from 2004 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. In November 2017, they obtained a Triplebyte certified Generalist Software Engineer certification from Triplebyte.
