Leigh Oates

Leigh Oates is an accomplished actuary with extensive experience in the insurance industry, currently serving as Chief Actuary at Premia Holdings Ltd. since September 2017. Previously, Leigh held the position of Chief Actuary at QBE North America from May 2014 to July 2017 and served as Director at Towers Watson between February 2012 and May 2014. Additional roles include Chief Actuary at Global Indemnity (2008-2011), Senior Vice President at ACE Group (1993-2008), and Consultant at Tillinghast (1989-1993). Leigh began a professional career as an Actuarial Analyst at Liberty Mutual Insurance from 1987 to 1989. Educationally, Leigh obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Emory University, graduating in 1987.
