Laura B. has over a decade of work experience in the medical field. Laura began their career in 2009 as an Occupational Medicine Physician and Aviation Medicine Department Head in the US Navy. In 2021, they joined Premise Health as a Senior Medical Director and also became the Global Medical Director for Raytheon.
Laura B.'s education history includes a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience with minors in Classics and Naval Science from UCLA, obtained between 1999 and 2004. This was followed by a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Medicine from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston) between 2004 and 2009. Laura then completed an Internal Medicine Internship at Naval Medical Center San Diego from 2009 to 2010, and a Student Naval Flight Surgeon program at Naval Aerospace Medical Institute from 2010 to 2011. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business from 2017 to 2019. Finally, Laura completed a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) School of Public Health from 2019 to 2020. Additionally, Laura has participated in an Occupational Medicine Residency Program at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston).
