Jorge Herrero

Jorge Herrero has extensive experience in product strategy, innovation, and marketing. Jorge is currently serving as the Chief Product Officer at Prensa Ibérica since February 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Product Strategy and Innovation external advisor and consultant at entradas.com from October 2020 to January 2022.

Before joining Prensa Ibérica and entradas.com, Jorge held various roles at eBay. From 2017 to 2021, they were the Director of Product Innovation and Marketing, responsible for developing and implementing new global products and services. Jorge also served as the Head of Marketing, Innovation and New Business Development from 2015 to 2017. Additionally, Jorge was the Head of Operations Greater Europe from 2012 to 2014.

Jorge's work experience also includes their role as an Associate Professor and Mentor at EOI Business School from 2016 to 2020, where they contributed to the Executive Program in Digital Transformation. Prior to that, they were the Head of Marketing and Product at eBay Classifieds Group from 2009 to 2012, where they played a key role in launching eBay Classifieds in multiple countries.

Earlier in their career, Jorge worked as the Head of Internet Marketing at eBay from 2006 to 2009, where they led online marketing efforts in Spain and coordinated strategies across countries. Jorge also served as the Technical Director at iProspect from 2005 to 2006, where they defined and implemented digital strategies for agency clients.

Jorge's career began at Websdirect, where they worked in product development and marketing from 2000 to 2005. Overall, Jorge Herrero has a diverse background in product strategy, marketing, and digital transformation.

Jorge Herrero is currently pursuing a degree in Frontiers of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (FIE) at MIT Sloan School of Management. In 2022, they briefly studied Journalism and Communication in the Digital Age (WJC) at the University of Oxford. It is not specified when they attended Universidad Pontificia Comillas for Computer Engineering, nor when they attended Colegio Menesiano Madrid.
