Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Regional Sales to head our team of Regional Account Managers. This role is pivotal in driving our growth in the Public Safety sector, overseeing customer acquisition strategies, and leading a team to establish robust relationships and close deals within specific regional targets in the U.S. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in the Public Safety/911 market, a proven track record in sales leadership and a passion for making a difference in public safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Management: Lead and mentor a team of Regional Account Managers, fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration.
  • Customer Acquisition Strategy: Develop and execute targeted initiatives for new customer acquisition in the Regional Public Safety market, ensuring alignment with overall sales objectives.
  • Market Intelligence: Continuously monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to craft informed and effective sales strategies.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with the sales leadership team to refine and implement sales strategies that effectively address regional market needs and opportunities.
  • Relationship Management: Oversee and guide the team in nurturing and sustaining customer relationships, playing a critical role in enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Sales Oversight: Contribute to updating and maintaining the sales pipeline, forecasts, and customer feedback to optimize sales efforts and outcomes.

About You

  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in sales or customer service, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the Public Safety Technology Sector (or related fields).
  • Market Expertise: Deep understanding of Public Safety/ 911 agencies and the unique challenges they face.
  • Strategic Skills: Demonstrates exceptional analytical skills and strategic planning abilities with a track record of developing successful sales strategies.
  • Communication Proficiency: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to clearly articulate technical concepts and foster meaningful relationships with clients.
  • Leadership Abilities: Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing sales teams.
  • Adaptability and Drive: Highly motivated and adaptable, ready to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving startup environment, with a resilience that matches the urgency of public safety challenges.

Pay Transparency

The base compensation for this role is approximately $150,000–180,000 per year, excluding bonus targets and incentive plans. You are also eligible for employee benefits, company equity grants, participation in Prepared’s unlimited vacation program, and free membership to One Medical.
