Sahand Pirbadian

Sahand Pirbadian has extensive work experience in research and engineering roles. Sahand is currently employed as a Senior Research Engineer at Presidio Medical, Inc. since May 2022. Prior to this, Sahand was a Senior Electrochemistry Engineer at Cercacor Laboratories, Inc. from May 2020 to April 2022.

Before transitioning to industry, Sahand worked at the University of Southern California for several years. Sahand held various positions including Senior Research Associate from February 2019 to May 2020, Research Associate from June 2016 to February 2019, Postdoctoral Research Associate from May 2015 to May 2016, and Graduate Research Assistant from May 2011 to May 2015.

Sahand Pirbadian earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Physics from Sharif University of Technology, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. Sahand then pursued further education at the University of Southern California, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Physics, specializing in the field of study, from 2010 to 2015. Later, from 2017 to 2019, Sahand completed a Master's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering at the University of Southern California.
