Ajay Jayagopal

Ajay Jayagopal has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Ajay is currently the Founder and CEO of PreSkale, a position they have held since May 2021. In 2022, they also became an Executive Member at Pavilion.

Before starting their own company, Ajay served as a Sales and PreSales professional at RFPIO Inc. from May 2019 to November 2020. During their time there, they collaborated with the GTM and management teams to devise strategies for brand awareness and RFP automation process. Ajay also worked with the Business Development teams to improve lead conversion for outbound and inbound sales.

Prior to that, Ajay worked at Freshworks from 2016 to 2019. Ajay held roles in both Sales and Presales departments. In Sales, they were responsible for accelerating the growth of Freshsales CRM in Europe and assisting clients' customer service teams to integrate Freshworks products for a better customer experience. In Presales, they focused on amplifying market share in Eastern European countries and developing sales effectiveness tools and practices.

Before their tenure at Freshworks, Ajay founded their own company called AyRaa in 2015. As the Founder, they focused on marketing strategy, outbound processes, and logistics management.

Ajay also gained experience as a Student Placement Coordinator at SSN College of Engineering, where they assisted over 200+ students and recruiters with the placement process. Additionally, they served as the Head of Design at the Eupraxia technical symposium, where they were responsible for digital designs and coordination.

Early in their career, Ajay worked as a Business Intern at Illumine i and Saranya Textiles. At Illumine i, they focused on showcasing the importance of solar energy and developing energy-efficient solutions. At Saranya Textiles, they learned about managing a textile plant and studied the overall product cycle.

Ajay Jayagopal obtained their Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from SSN College of Engineering, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. Prior to that, they attended Bharathi Matriculation Higher Secondary School from 2004 to 2012, completing a High School Equivalence Certificate Program. In addition to their formal education, Ajay has also obtained several certifications, including CEFR Level C1 from IELTS Official in March 2018, DELF A2 from Education Nationale in July 2017, Successful Negotiation: Essential Strategies and Skills from the University of Michigan in November 2015, Solar Design and Installation from MSME - Coimbatore in December 2014, Goethe-Zertifikat A1: Start Deutsch 1 from Goethe-Zentrum Coimbatore in May 2010, and Madhyama from Dakshina Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha in September 2006.
