Ratnaningrum Karuna

Ratnaningrum (Ratna) Karuna has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biomedical research industries. Ratnaningrum (Ratna) is currently serving as the R&D & Project Management Lead at Prestige BioPharma Ltd, where they lead the R&D teams in Singapore and oversees various aspects of drug development, including cell line development, preclinical studies, clinical bioanalysis, and regulatory submissions.

Prior to their current role, Ratna worked at A*STAR - Agency for Science, Technology and Research as the Group Leader of the Experimental Drug Development Centre (EDDC) from 2017 to 2021.

Ratnaningrum (Ratna) also held positions at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR), where they served as the DMPK Lead & Laboratory Head at the Novartis Institute for Tropical Diseases (NITD) from 2012 to 2017. Before that, Ratna worked at NIBR as a Research Investigator in the Analytical Science and Imaging Division from 2010 to 2011, where they developed sensitive LC-MS methods for biomarker evaluation.
