Francesco Lago

Game Developer at Pretty Simple

Francesco Lago has held several positions in the software development industry since 2007. From 2007 to 2015, they worked as a Programmer at Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK-irst). During this time, they were also an Undergraduate Researcher at the software department of the 3D Optical Metrology group, where they were responsible for the design and implementation of ad-hoc software used for 3D reconstruction. From 2010 to 2017, they worked as a R&D Programmer at BTDStudio, where they led all aspects of software development for the full 3D MMORPG for Android/iOS “X-Code Deathland”. During this time, they also developed a fully custom 3D cross-platform game engine from scratch and programmed a world-class AI for the game of Othello that was featured on two Japanese television shows. Since 2017, they have been a Game Developer at Pretty Simple.

Francesco Lago received a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the Università di Trento between 2003 and 2006. Francesco then went on to receive a Specialization in Game Programming from Tokyo Netwave between 2008 and 2010.
