Elnaz Samadian Zad

Elnaz Samadian Zad has a diverse range of work experience in various organizations. In 2018, they worked as an Informationssekreterare at Västmanlands-Dala nation. In 2020, they became a Team member at iGEM Uppsala, where they contributed to project planning and full-time laboratory work. The team won the prize for "Best New Applications Project" and received iGEM Uppsala's 10th gold medal in a row. In 2020, they also joined Uppsala teknolog- och naturvetarkår as a Skribent för Techna, and worked there until June 2021. From September 2022 to February 2023, they were a Master Thesis Student at Uppsala universitet. Currently, they are working as an Associate Scientist at Pretzel Therapeutics via QRIOS, starting from June 2023.

Elnaz Samadian Zad's education history began in 2014 when they attended Sigrid Rudebecks Gymnasium Goteborg and obtained a Gymnasieexamen degree in Naturvetenskap in 2017. Afterward, they pursued further studies at Uppsala University from 2017 to 2023, where they attained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Molecular Biotechnology Engineering. In 2022, they also attended Università degli Studi di Trieste for an Erasmus program, specializing in Neurovetenskap.
