Jesse Putzel

Jesse joined PHP in January 2022 and has over 18 years of experience in the environment and sustainability field within the public and private sectors.

Prior to joining PHP, Jesse was Head of Sustainability at BAM, a large European construction and property services enterprise. At BAM, Jesse spearheaded industry-leading initiatives, helping the group to become one of the leading sustainable construction and property services businesses in Europe, and has worked with leading clients to help deliver some of the most sustainable buildings in the UK.

Prior to BAM, Jesse worked in consultancy and for local government, leading projects and services focused on energy efficiency, climate action, and sustainability strategy development.

Jesse has a wealth of experience and knowledge gained through both direct roles and industry collaboration on social and environmental sustainability issues. This includes net-zero carbon, climate resilience, social value, circular economy, ethical and responsible supply chains, sustainable finance and sustainability benchmarking, measurement and reporting.
