Katie Ives

Katie Ives has a diverse range of work experience. Katie began their career in 2015 with an internship at Sony/ATV, where they focused on licensing and income tracking. Katie then worked as a summer staff member at Leysin American School in Switzerland from 2014 to 2016.

In 2017, Katie served as a juvenile transfer legal intern at Shelby County Public Defender. Katie continued to gain legal experience with various roles, including business affairs and legal extern at UP tv, law clerk at Shackelford, Bowen, McKinley & Norton, LLP, and legal extern at Concord Music in 2018.

In 2019, Katie worked as a legal extern at Fox Television Stations before joining King & Ballow as an associate attorney in 2020. Katie then moved to Serling Rooks Hunter McKoy Worob & Averill LLP as an associate attorney from 2021 to early 2023.

Currently, Katie Ives holds the role of Director of Business & Legal Affairs at Primary Wave since March 2023. Katie'scareer journey has provided their with a strong legal background and valuable experience in the entertainment industry.

Katie Ives attended Miss Porter's School from 2008 to 2012. Katie then pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Recording Industry Major with a Marketing Minor at Middle Tennessee State University from 2012 to 2015. Following that, they attended Emory University School of Law from 2016 to 2019, where they obtained their Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree specializing in Sports and Entertainment Law.
