Alexander Thomson

Alexander Thomson has over 25 years of work experience, starting in 1996 as an Application Engineer at Invensys. Alexander then worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Passkey International Inc. from 2000 to 2003. Following that, they served as an Integration Engineer at Service Integrity Inc. from 2003 to 2005. From 2005 to 2013, they worked at The Broad Institute as a Manager of Software Engineering.

In 2013, Alexander joined Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR) as an Associate Director, where they led a software team developing software solutions for NGS lab operations and analytic data processing pipelines. Alexander also worked as a Senior Group Leader Scientific Engineering from 2016 to 2019.

In 2019, they joined Glympse Bio as the Director of Engineering, where they held the position until 2021. Currently, they are working as the Director of Lab Informatics at Prime Medicine, Inc., starting in March 2021.

Alexander Thomson attended Clarkson University from 1992 to 1996 where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Chemical Engineering.
