Kayne Stroup

Kayne Stroup has a rich work experience spanning various industries and roles. Starting in 2005, they served as the Controller for TransPecos Foods, where they led the Accounting and Finance department and contributed to the company's doubled revenue growth over two years. From 2007 to 2009, they worked as the Controller at Atlas Copco, overseeing Accounting and Finance for North America production and implementing impactful changes for the organization.

In 2010, Stroup joined Ashland Inc. as the Controller, streamlining annual budgeting and financial planning for the Industrial Specialties Division and improving reporting processes. Kayne then moved on to Image Microsystems in 2012, where they assumed the role of CFO and played a crucial part in the company's financial restructuring and subsequent acquisition by a private equity firm.

From 2012 to 2016, Stroup served as the CFO and Co-founder of Next Life Electronics, where they managed a growing workforce, established financial infrastructure, and secured multimillion-dollar contracts with Fortune 500 brands.

In 2017, Stroup became the VP of Finance at uStudio, where they implemented financial rigor, reduced operating expenses, and achieved certifications to attract enterprise clients. During their tenure, they more-than-doubled the company's yearly revenues for two consecutive years.

In 2022, Stroup joined DataPrime, initially as a Chief Financial Officer and later as a Board Advisor. At DataPrime, they provided Data Science and Analytics solutions and products, contributing to the company's success in the field of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.

Most recently, in 2023, Stroup became the Head of Finance at Close, where they continue to apply their financial expertise.

Kayne Stroup attended Texas A&M University from 1998 to 2002, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Following this, from 2002 to 2004, Stroup pursued a Master of Business Administration degree in Business Administration at Texas State University.
