Kevin Anderson

Kevin Anderson has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Kevin is currently working as a Structural Engineer at Primera Engineers since March 2021. Prior to this, they worked as an Engineer at STV from August 2019 to February 2021. Before that, Kevin was a Design Engineer at ESCA Consultants from January 2016 to June 2019, where they worked on projects for major clients such as IDOT, CN Railroad, and BNSF Railways.

Kevin also has experience in research and teaching. Kevin was a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from January 2015 to December 2015 and from August 2014 to November 2015, respectively. During their research, they focused on analyzing and modeling advanced materials.

Additionally, Kevin gained practical experience as a Structural Engineering Intern at Bury, Inc. in 2014, where they collaborated with senior engineers on building design and renovation projects. Prior to that, they worked as a Structural Engineering Intern at Bury+Partners in 2013.

Kevin Anderson obtained a Bachelor's Degree in General Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. Following that, they pursued a Master's Degree in Structural Engineering at the same university from 2014 to 2016. In terms of additional certifications, Kevin obtained their Licensed Professional Engineer designation from the State of Illinois in May 2019. Furthermore, they achieved the title of Structural Engineer (SE) from the State of Illinois in December 2020.
