Hitoshi Itagaki

Hitoshi Itagaki serves as the President and Representative Director at Principal Global Investors in Japan since October 2007. Prior to this role, Itagaki held the position of Director and Product Manager for Japanese Equity at Schroders from February 2005 to September 2007. Itagaki's earlier experience includes serving as Executive Director of VA Sales at PCA Life Insurance and various positions at Nippon Life Insurance Company, where responsibilities ranged from PR Officer and ITM distribution planning to Portfolio Manager in the Japanese Equity Department and CIO at Nippon Life America. Itagaki holds a degree from Kobe University, completed in 1984.
