Woraphot Khunaprasit

Woraphot Khunaprasit has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Woraphot currently holds the position of Head of Multi-Asset investment at Principal Thailand since December 2022. Prior to this, from January 2022 to November 2022, they worked as a Senior Fund Manager at Principal Thailand, where they were responsible for strategic asset allocation and portfolio management.

Before joining Principal Thailand, Woraphot worked as an Associate Director at SCBAM from May 2018 to December 2021. In this role, they constructed ETF portfolios and conducted backtests on various investment strategies. Woraphot also worked as a Fixed Income Portfolio Manager at SCBAM from October 2014 to November 2015, where they managed money market funds and implemented investment strategies.

Woraphot's previous experience includes roles such as Risk Management Officer at Siam Commercial Bank, where they monitored portfolio risks and selected benchmarks, and a Fixed Income and Derivatives Analyst at Muang Thai Life Assurance, where they priced fixed income securities and conducted asset liability management.

Woraphot also worked as an IT Projects Financial Analyst at Kasikorn Bank, where they analyzed potential profitable IT projects, and as a Power Engineer at Provincial Electricity Authority, where they supervised electricity equipment installation.

Woraphot began their career as a Process Engineer at Hana Microelectronics Public Co., Ltd and a Test Engineer at Sony Device Technology (Thailand) Co., Ltd. Additionally, they have undertaken further training in financial modeling and has studied English in New York City.

Woraphot Khunaprasit's education history begins with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Chiang Mai University, which they obtained from 2000 to 2004. Woraphot then pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration and Quantum Physics from the same university, completing it from 2008 to 2010. Following this, they attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa from 2011 to 2012, where they obtained a Master's degree in Financial Engineering. Additionally, Woraphot holds the title of "2013 Level II Candidate in the CFA Program" from the CFA Institute.
