Susana Rodriguez-Navarro is a prominent scientist specializing in gene expression and mRNA metabolism, currently serving as Directora Científica at the Instituto de Biomedicina de Valencia under the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas since February 2024. With a longstanding affiliation to the Consejo, Rodriguez-Navarro has been a Científica Titular since January 2018 and has led the Gene Expression coupled to RNA Transport Lab at the Príncipe Felipe Research Institute (CIPF) since January 2005. Rodriguez-Navarro has held prestigious positions, including a Visiting Scientist role as a Fulbright Scholar at Harvard Medical School in 2015 and a postdoctoral position in Ed Hurt's lab in Germany from 2001 to 2004. Rodriguez-Navarro earned a PhD from the University of Valencia, where the academic journey began as a PhD student from 1996 to 2000.
