Gianna Smorto

Gianna Reddick started their work experience in 2008 as the Director of Nova Athletics Day Camp, a non-profit summer gymnastics day camp for children. Gianna was responsible for various aspects of the camp, including collecting tuition, registering new campers, and managing staff. From 2012 to 2015, they also served as a Supervisor at Oasis/Haven.

In 2014, they worked as a Student Assistant at SUNY New Paltz, where they assisted with office operations and supported student advisement.

From 2015 to 2016, Gianna worked as an intern at the Orange County Emergency Management department, gaining experience in emergency management.

In 2016, they joined the NYC Teaching Fellows as a Communications Associate, where they supported the enrollment process and maintained effective communication systems. Gianna also worked as an Associate Director of Communications & Development at Fresh Youth Initiatives, Inc. during this time, managing various aspects of fundraising and communications.

Gianna then became a John D. Solomon Fellow in the Public/Private Initiatives Unit of the New York City Emergency Management Department, where they expanded outreach efforts and assisted in coordination for meetings.

Finally, in 2018, Gianna joined Private Prep as the Office Manager and Practice Test Coordinator, and later transitioned into the role of Markets Operations Manager in September 2021.

Gianna Reddick attended SUNY New Paltz from 2011 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication/Media Studies and Sociology. During their time there, they also pursued a minor in Disaster Studies.
