Samuel Russell has been an Electrical Engineer since 2004. Samuel started their career at McDowell Research Corporation, where they programmed a LabView VI to automatically program and calibrate RF amplifiers, designed and programmed a circuit to detect RF frequency using a CPLD programmed in Xilinx ISE (VHDL), and designed and programmed a CPLD circuit to parse information from a data stream for valid commands to set radio bands and modes. In 2008, they moved to RF Power NW, where they designed and developed automated test fixtures for product validation and production testing, using Labview and Excel Macro programming, created and maintained a product failure database to track fall-out and improve designs to reduce failures, and designed a set of RF Filters. In 2009, they joined Ultralife Corporation as a Senior Electrical Engineer, where they acted as lead electrical engineer on interdisciplinary product development teams developing rechargeable batteries, battery chargers, and power supplies, following those products from concept to production, and selected chemistry and cells for new battery applications including Li-Ion, LiFePO4, NiMH, and Li-Spinel. In 2012, they moved to Sensata Technologies as an Electrical Design Engineer. In 2016, they joined QinetiQ North America as a Principal Electrical Engineer, and in 2017, they moved to MTD Products as a Senior Electrical Engineer. Most recently, in 2020, they joined Privoro as a Lead Electrical Engineer.

Samuel Russell obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) in Innovation Management from the Rochester Institute of Technology between 2010 and 2011. Samuel also obtained a B.S.E.E. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington between 2001 and 2005. In addition, they have obtained numerous certifications from LinkedIn, including Effective Listening and Delivering Results Effectively in July 2020, as well as Betty Liu on Career Success, Building Resilience, Developing Your Emotional Intelligence, and Leading Productive Meetings in June 2018.
