Dr. Sherry Perkins has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several decades. Dr. Sherry started their career in 1974 as a Human Resources Program Manager at IBM Tivoli Software and held this role until 2001. From 2001 to 2004, they served as the President of Vivid Concept Business Solutions. In 2001, they also joined Profiles International, Inc. as a Strategic Business Partner in Organizational Development. From 2006 to 2015, they held various roles at Profiles International, including the position of VP, Enterprise Solutions Client Services, where they developed curriculum and conducted workshops to support talent management systems. Additionally, Dr. Perkins worked at the SIB Leadership Development Institute, where they served as the Director of Curriculum and Instruction and later as the Director of Curriculum and Development. Their responsibilities in these roles included professional needs analyses, curriculum design, learning facilitation, and analysis of knowledge transfer. Dr. Sherry specialized in leadership development, complex communication, life mastery, team development, and change management. Overall, Dr. Sherry Perkins has a wealth of experience in curriculum design, leadership development, talent management, and organizational development.
Dr. Sherry Perkins obtained their Doctor of Education (EdD) degree in Leadership and Organizational Change from Grand Canyon University from 2010 to 2017. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Curriculum and Instruction/HRD at The University of Texas at Austin. In addition to their academic degrees, Dr. Perkins holds a certification as a SCORE Certified Business Counselor from the SCORE Association.
