Quality and industrialisation engineer at Profoto

Markus Ahlberg has a diverse work experience in various industries. Starting in 2016, they worked at Stora Enso, where they were responsible for quality control and mass dissolvement. In 2017, Ahlberg worked at SSAB as a service and maintenance employee, overseeing the gas cleaning process. Markus then joined LTU Business as a product developer, contributing to a climate project. In 2018, they worked at Luleå kommun as a product designer, involved in the development of a digital service using gamification. At Outokumpu in 2019, Ahlberg served as a controller. Markus also worked on an university project for Norsk Hydro as a product developer, focusing on the use of aluminum in concrete reinforcement. In 2020, they were employed by 3M Peltor Communication Solutions as a designer, conducting research on sound identification. Ahlberg joined Saab in 2021 as a system engineer and later moved to ALTEN Sweden as an engineering consultant. Currently, they are working at Profoto as a quality and industrialization engineer.

Markus Ahlberg has a diverse education history. Markus obtained a Master of Science degree in industrial design engineering with a focus on product development from Luleå University of Technology, from 2015 to 2020. Prior to that, they attended STAR from 2009 to 2010, where they earned a degree as a carpenter with a specialization in general woodworking. Their earliest education can be traced back to Karlfeldtgymnasiet, where they studied electronics from 2002 to 2005.

In addition to their formal education, Markus Ahlberg has obtained two certifications. In March 2023, they completed a course on "Service Design: How to Design Integrated Service Experiences" from the Interaction Design Foundation (IxDF). In May 2022, they obtained a certification in "Human-Centered Service Design" from IDEO U.
