Brian Kirkwood

Brian Kirkwood has extensive experience in procurement and supply chain management. Brian is currently serving as the Vice President of Procurement at Progress Residential®. In this role, they are responsible for material procurement, supply chain team and strategy. Brian has led the team to achieve record savings and improve service availability and material deliveries. Prior to their current position, Brian worked at Gilbarco Veeder-Root as the Director of Procurement, Americas, where they achieved significant savings and improvements in working capital and inventory management. Brian also served as the Global Sourcing and Materials Director at Gilbarco Veeder-Root, leading the team to achieve high savings in direct and indirect materials. Brian has also worked at Rexnord as the Materials Manager and at Danaher Motion and Danaher in various procurement roles. Brian began their career as a Launch Crew Commander in the USAF.

Brian Kirkwood earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill between 1994 and 1998. Brian then completed their MBA in Finance at Auburn University from 1999 to 2002.
