Lawrence Forsythe

Lawrence Forsythe has extensive work experience in various software engineering roles. Lawrence is currently the Director of Software Engineering at Progress Residential® since September 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineering Manager from April 2022 to October 2023, and as a Senior Full Stack Developer from June 2021 to April 2022.

Before joining Progress Residential®, Lawrence worked at Whispir, where they held multiple roles. Lawrence started as a Customer Solutions Engineer from May 2016 to April 2018, where they developed custom platform solutions for customers using various technologies. Lawrence then worked as a Frontend Developer from April 2018 to January 2021, contributing to the development of Node.js, React, and other technologies. Later, they served as a Full Stack Developer from January 2019 to January 2021, focusing on Node.js, React, GraphQL, Serverless, and the AWS ecosystem. Lastly, they worked as a Senior (Full Stack) Developer from January 2021 to June 2021, contributing to planning, design, and implementation of new features and improvements.

Prior to their time at Whispir, Lawrence worked as a Software Engineer at Imageteq Technologies Inc. from October 2013 to May 2016. In this role, they developed applications using C#, ASP.NET, SQL, and other technologies. Additionally, they worked at the Arizona Department of Health Services as a Web Developer from March 2013 to October 2013, where they developed websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Drupal.

Earlier in their career, Lawrence worked as a Web Developer at TrueCloud from August 2012 to December 2012, creating web design mock-ups and developing sites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ASP, and SQL. Lawrence also worked as a Clinical Outcomes Specialist at Community Bridges from March 2009 to February 2012, developing internal web sites and web forms using HTML, CSS, ASP, JavaScript, and SQL for data collection and reporting processes in the behavioral health industry.

Lawrence Forsythe attended Arizona State University from 2005 to 2007, where they studied architecture. Lawrence did not complete a degree during this time.
