Matthew Boelkins

Matthew Boelkins is a graduate transportation engineer currently employed at Progressive Companies since February 2023. Prior to this role, Matthew worked at HNTB from June 2020 to February 2023 as a traffic and ITS engineer, where responsibilities included updating signal timing permits for the Michigan Department of Transportation and contributing to intelligent transportation systems for a technological corridor in Sterling Heights, MI. Matthew also gained experience at Calvin University as an admissions student assistant and student researcher, focusing on chemometric research in process control. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering, with minors in Economics and Mathematics from Calvin University, completed in May 2021.
