Jim Dodrill

Jim Dodrill is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in legal and government affairs, currently serving as the Business Leader of Government Affairs at Progressive Insurance since October 2021, and as a Board Member for the Central West Virginia Regional Airport Authority since April 2018. Jim's background includes a prominent role as Insurance Commissioner for the State of West Virginia from July 2015 to October 2021, and extensive involvement in the Civil Air Patrol, where roles included Director of Government Relations and Commander. Jim has also held legal positions in various capacities, including Corporate Claims Counsel at Progressive Insurance and City Attorney for Milton, West Virginia. Educational credentials include a J.D. from West Virginia University College of Law and a B.A. in Political Science from Marshall University.
