Joycelyn Tate, JD, serves as the founder and CEO of TS Strategies, focusing on tech and telecom policy advocacy for public interest and civil rights organizations, while also fostering community engagement for digital equity initiatives. As a co-founder of the MakeIT4Change Innovation Hub, Joycelyn empowers individuals to create technology solutions for social change. Current roles include directing digital equity initiatives at Clark Atlanta University, serving as a Mosaic Economic Project Fellow at the Progressive Policy Institute, and acting as a Senior Technology Policy Advisor for the National Coalition on Black Civic Participation. Previous experience includes a position on the Communications Equity and Diversity Council at the Federal Communications Commission, advocating for diversity in broadband access and tech markets, and hosting the "Telecom Talk" radio segment. Joycelyn holds a Juris Doctor from The Catholic University of America and has completed several specialized programs, including in women's entrepreneurship and executive leadership.
