Forrest Osburn

Regional Engagement Program Manager - California at Project Equity

Forrest Osburn has a diverse work background that began with a National Climate Campaigns and Outreach Intern position at the National Audubon Society in 2019. In 2020, they became a management consultant at Witt O'Brien's and was responsible for creating policies, SOPs, and business process guidelines for using federal funding received by state and local governments. Forrest worked as a survey design specialist at Grace Hill in late 2021 and as an associate at Third Bridge Group Limited, beginning in June of 2021. In November of 2019, they took on a Research Assistant role at HIT Strategies, where they oversaw crucial office tasks and created presentation decks analyzing qualitative and quantitative data and findings. Osburn served as a Campaign Manager for Mary Zendejas for City Council, Megan Kerr for City Council, and Dr. Joni for City Council from May of 2022 until November of 2022. Additionally, from January of 2023 until June of 2023, they worked for the City of Long Beach as a Legislative Assistant, overseeing the Legislative, Communications, and Fieldwork operations of Long Beach City Councilmember Dr. Joni Ricks-Oddie's District 9 office. Finally, they began working at Project Equity in California in June of 2023 as a Regional Engagement Program Manager.

Forrest Osburn earned a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government from California State University, Chico from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they attended The University of Kansas from 2014 to 2016 and studied Political Science but did not earn a degree.
