Niran started their career as a Systems Administrator at the Internet Society in 1995.

Prior to that, they obtained their Master of Engineering Management from The George Washington University in 2002, with a focus on Software and Information Systems Management. Niran began their academic journey by earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Shenandoah University in 1997.
