D.eng. Niran Seevaratnam

Niran Seevaratnam, D.Eng. has a wide range of work experience in various roles and positions. Niran recently served as the Senior Director of Global IT Operations at Project HOPE since January 2017. Niran also holds a position as an Adjunct Professor at The George Washington University's School of Engineering & Applied Science starting in January 2019. Prior to this, they were the Senior Manager of Consulting Services at American Technology Services from 2012 to 2017. Niran has also worked as the Chief Technology Officer at LinkagePoint, Director/Head of IT at Virtusa Corporation, Head of IT at Aitken Spence GTECH, Senior Technology Manager at Venture Technologies, and in various managerial roles at Oracle Corporation and NDC Group. Niran started their career as a Systems Administrator at the Internet Society in 1995.

Niran Seevaratnam, D.Eng. has a strong educational background in engineering and information systems management. Niran completed their Doctor of Engineering in Engineering Management at The George Washington University in 2019, specializing in Systems Engineering. Prior to that, they obtained their Master of Engineering Management from The George Washington University in 2002, with a focus on Software and Information Systems Management. Niran began their academic journey by earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Shenandoah University in 1997.
