Ken Nelson

Ken Nelson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Ken started their career as a Programmer Analyst at Southern California Edison, where they worked on client/server applications and managed network systems. Ken then moved on to Incware Corporation, where they served as the Vice President of Research & Development, leading professional services projects and driving sales growth. Ken later became the President and CEO of San Clemente Technical Company, Inc., overseeing information services projects and collaborating with development resources.

After that, Ken joined SAP as a Mobility Solutions Engineer, presenting the value of SAP Mobile Solutions to customers and facilitating Design Thinking sessions to improve their business processes. Ken then worked at Optimal Solutions as the Director of Pre-sales, establishing a mobile solutions and services group and creating practice areas aligned with the SAP Partnership. Ken also had a role at Mocana Corporation as a Senior Enterprise Mobility Sales Engineer, driving product deployments and providing technical support for mobile security products.

In their most recent roles, Ken worked at IBM, starting as a MobileFirst & API Connect Solution Architect before transitioning to a Hybrid Cloud Technical Sales Specialist. Ken then became an Integration Architect within the Industrial SWAT team, specializing in IBM's Integration Solutions. Ken's responsibilities included providing technical leadership and support to sales teams and partners, collaborating on projects, and delivering innovative solutions to clients.

Currently, Ken is the Vice President of Global Lab Services at project44, leading a team dedicated to creating tailored solutions for customers using Design Thinking methodologies and technical expertise. Ken collaborates closely with product management and engineering teams to drive innovation and rapid prototyping of potential product offerings. Throughout their career, Ken has consistently focused on delivering exceptional customer solutions and driving growth.

Ken Nelson has a diverse education history. Ken pursued a Bachelor's degree in Technological Entrepreneurship and Management, with a minor in Business, from the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University. Prior to that, they attended Coleman College, where they obtained a degree in Information Services. Additionally, they completed their high school education at Mira Mesa High School. Aside from their formal education, Ken Nelson has obtained various certifications in different areas, including design thinking, scuba diving instruction, and cloud computing.
