Sam White

Co-founder at Promethean Power Systems

Sam White has a long and varied work experience. Sam began their career in 1995 as the VP of Sales at World Congress, where they recruited and managed an Analyst team, organized Energy Ministers and presidents of global independent power producers, and recognized the research needs in the corporate finance market. In 1999, they moved to GetConnected as the Director of Partnerships, where they landed partnerships with over 40 Telecom companies and generated over $1 million in revenue. In 2001, Sam moved to Smartleaf as the Director of Business Development. In 2007, they co-founded Promethean Power Systems, a thermal battery technology start-up, and launched the company from concept to a revenue-generating company. In 2011, they became the Director and Co-Founder of Greentown Labs. In 2015, Sam founded Nano-Ice, inventing a wearable cooling device. In 2019, they took on roles as the Chief Innovation Officer at Freight Farms and the Cooling Technology Lead Expert at The World Bank. Finally, in 2021, they became the Chief Business Officer at Emrod.

Sam White attended Eaglebrook School, followed by Union College where they earned a BA in Political Science and Spanish. Sam also attended Union College for an additional period of time.
