Derek Shickel

Derek Shickel is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in consulting and operations, currently serving as the Director of North America Consulting & Global Service Operations and the Director of Master Data as a Service, Mobile Capture at Prometheus Group since April 2015. With a strong background in product management, Derek has successfully driven product success through market analysis, developed a comprehensive eLearning platform, and created impactful marketing content. Previous roles include Sales Engineering Manager and Sales Engineer/Functional Consultant, where responsibilities included team leadership, software demonstrations, and training. Prior to Prometheus Group, Derek worked at Schneider Electric as a Technical Consultation Engineer, receiving recognition for performance, and gained experience with various technical and engineering roles at Virginia Tech, TECHLAB, Inc., Cave Hill Corporation, and Integrated Manufacturing Systems, Inc. Derek holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech.
